However, it is a nice set-up for portraits giving you a 75 or 80mm lens on 135 film as Bob said. I’ve taken some nice shots of my sons using the 35mm adapter. All Rolleiflex 2.8 cameras have a Compur shutter with at least B, X-sync and speeds from 1-1/500s. Only exception is the first version of the 2.8A. All models have a winding lever that stops at the first exposure. All accept at least 120 film, models from the 2.8F (#2.455.000) onwards also take 220 film .
Rolleikin (2) sets for cameras without the counter knob from factory have a silvered disc with black numbers. A. Installing the Counter Knob (not required with Rolleikin 2.8) (The exposure-counter-knob accepts 35 mm. film and 120 film) Remove the top film-knob by unscrewing the three countersunk screws. Fasten counter-knob tightly by means of the three screws supplied. Remove protective lining from gummed insert and paste it on the counter knob.
