CHLOROPAC® SYSTEMS: PATENTED CTE TECHNOLOGY AT THE CORE Seawater flows through the annulus created by the concentric titanium tubes that make up the anode and cathode assembly. Passing electric current through the seawater converts the sodium chloride into sodium hypochlorite: the active ingredient required for antifouling.
The use of the Chloropac® System reduces maintenance costs for the ship owner. The Chloropac® System controllers can be adjusted manually or automatically to control the amount of hypochlorite being produced. The overboard residual can be controlled to 0.1 ppm or less. No pollutants are discharged overboard.
